With a suitable qualification and relevant experience you can start looking for work in your chosen field.  This section looks at where to look for work, how to apply for jobs and your rights and entitlements when you find work.

Are you allowed to work or volunteer in the UK?  Look at the Rights and Entitlements section.
Job Search looks at the best places to find the jobs you are looking for, the key skills employers are looking for and the role of teaching agencies and supply teaching.
To find out what you could earn in different sectors look at the Salaries in Education section.
The Job Applications section takes you through the process of applying for a job from writing CVs to going for interviews
Before starting employment you will need to get a disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.  Other checks by employers are also included in this section.
Once you have found a job you have the right to join a trade union. This section provides information on the Trade Unions working in the education sector.
